Oktoberfest is a Firkin good time!

Next saturday, September 20th, at 3pm I will be swinging a wooden mallet to drive home the starting tap into the Oktoberfest 2008 firkin. There will be brauts grilling and beer swilling. One liter commerative (you get to keep)  steins with beer for $12 and refills for $9. You can use your mug until the end of Oktoberfest on October 5th, that is if the beer lasts that long.

Outdoor seating will be available on an authentic bench & table set from last year's Big Tent Party in Munich. There will giveaways and prizes for all.

Later in the night say around 9pm the music will start up and this will not be an Oompah Oompah band. The Toughtimes (hip shakin' rhythm-n-blues), Canon Canyon (Mike Cooper of Roy...Americana/folk), Motopony (Robbie Love / Daniel Blue...Creative, rootsy folk) and Selectress (spinnin a mix of soul/garage/reggae/and more).

Big beers and big fun are the order of the day!

Great Time

Thank you to everyone who has come out and filled their STEINS this year. There is only two days left of Oktoberfest and then we are celebrating Pilsner Urquell's birthday.
